About the Miss Auburn Scholarship Program

The Miss Auburn Scholarship Program is the strongest community based scholarship competition of its kind in the state. In 1997 the Miss American organization proclaimed the Miss Auburn Scholarship Fund to be the largest in the entire Miss America local pageant system. In 1995, Amber Hamilton became Auburn's first Miss Washington.

The program is produced by the Miss Auburn Scholarship Program Inc. and sponsored by the Auburn Noon Lions Club. It is an official preliminary to the Miss Washington and Miss America Scholarship Pageants. This year, the program celebrates its 46th year with the Miss America Organization. The Miss Auburn Scholarship Program is a dynamic educational program. It provides opportunities for young women to expand their quest for knowledge and acquire skills to better equip them for future opportunities.

Most importantly, participants will have many occasions to develop their leadership skills, resulting in a greater sense of awareness of their potential.

The Miss Auburn Scholarship program through the Miss Auburn Scholarship Pageant awards over $50,000 to 20+ young women each year. Each participant receives a minimum of $350 in scholarship awards. The goal of the Miss Auburn Program is to inspire accomplishments and motivate personal achievement in young women. This program aims to assist young women to reach their educational goals and dreams.

If selected as Miss Auburn, you will enjoy an exciting and a busy year of appearances and engagements. She will meet and interact with city and state officials, community leaders, and a myriad of caring and giving volunteers who serve the Auburn community in a diligent and dedicated manner.
