How has the world you come from shaped your dreams and aspirations? Watching my father build to businesses from the ground up without higher education gave me the will to work for everything I hope to accomplish. My father was able to create a secure life, and instill into me the values of hard work, along with the critical need for education

Of all the ways you could succeed in your life, why have you chosen to succeed in the Miss Auburn Pageant? The Miss Auburn program is known for the individual growth that it brings to all who come into contact with it. This pageant recognizes the intelligence and grace of young women, the somewhat forgotten characteristics. Also, Miss Auburn allows the young women to strive for greater than what has already been accomplished. The contestants leave the program with a truer sense of who they are and what they hope to become.

What social issue, other than your platform, will have the greatest impact on your generation and why? The never subsiding racial tensions will be the down fall of my generation. Although we have learned of America’s history of racial oppression, there will always be those who are unfazed by this. Racial profiling is becoming stronger, and less accurate. There must be a time where we all come together as God’s children and work towards one common goal.
