Miss Auburn Outstanding Teen Program
The Miss Auburn Scholarship program proudly added the addition of The Miss Auburn Outstanding Teen pageant last year and we were proud to crown our very first Miss Auburn Outstanding Teen Naomi Moore. Our program awarded over $3,720 in scholarship & prizes last year.
The Miss Auburn Outstanding Teen Program is an official preliminary to the Miss Washington and Miss America Outstanding Teen Pageants where you have the opportunity to compete for additional scholarship money and titles. Naomi competed at Miss WA Outstanding Teen and came in 3rd place and making Auburn very proud of her!
The Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen Program provides training to develop your leadership and interview skills. Each contestant will also receive guidance on her talent presentation, wardrobe, poise and presence, as well as training in writing resume, platform statements and thank you notes. By participating in our program you will receive the benefits that will last a lifetime!
Teen Contestants ~ 2011-12 Requirements
- Must be no younger than 13 years old or no older than 17 years old on June 1, 2012. If 17, you must not be a graduating 2012 senior.
- Must be a United States citizen, have never been married and/or pregnant, and have always been female.
- Teen Contestants are required to participate in program-sponsored fundraising to offset any entry fees to our program. If the agreed amount is not sold, the contestant is responsible to make up the difference.
- Must attend all rehearsals and participate in every area of competition, including the production dance number(s), unless a medical release is provided

Miss Auburn Outstanding Teen 2011-12 contestants must submit a completed application by October 5, 2011. Online application can be fill out here. (Coming soon.).

Miss Auburn’s Outstanding Teen will receive a crown, sash and entry fee into Miss Washington Outstanding Teen Pageant, and scholarships, including a $1000 wardrobe grant. All other fees and expenses are the responsibility of the contestant and family.

The scoring will be very similar to Miss America scoring (except physical fitness will be in shorts/t-shirt) If selected as Miss Washington Outstanding Teen you will have an opportunity to compete in Orlando, FL for the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen.
